Our Services
NTK Learning Center, one of the leading educational providers in Southeast Asia, was established in 1996 by Mr. Ng Teng Keat. NTK specializes in academic programs for international and local school students, test preparation, and post-secondary education. We also provide education consultancy services giving advice to those considering secondary or tertiary education overseas.
Courses
NTKLearningCenter offers an unparalleled range of courses covering the whole spectrum of school courses and public examinations. We provide a wealth of experience preparing students for well known examinations such as the SAT, SSAT, AP, TOEFL, IB, I/GCSE, and A-Levels. In addition, we also have unrivaled expertise in readying students for tests which are growing in popularity in Hong Kong, including the ACT, GRE, GMAT and the Common Entrance Examinations.
Workshop Lessons
NTK Workshops combine the best of individual lessons and course teaching to provide students with new ways of learning and succeeding in their everyday studies.
Our workshops are designed to help students with what they are doing at school right now - students are encouraged to bring any assignments, topics or questions that they may have pertaining to the specific subject for teachers to explain and answer, as well as discuss in a small group setting with peers.
Our teachers are experienced educators in their respective topics and in the many syllabbuses offered at schools in Hong Kong, UK and US. which makes them experts in explanning and solving questions / diffculties students may be facing in their studies. Should the students not have any material that they need to work on at the moment, teachers will coach students on topics that they need to know based on the subject syllabus.
NTK Workshops are limited to a maximum of 4 students per session due to the specific nature of the lesson. This provides the optimum environment for subject-specific discussion and instruction.

Private Group lessons
One of the most effective ways to prepare for exams is to study with peers who are at the same academic level. While courses are a highly efficient way of studying in a group setting, sometimes students may need more personal attention or require additional focus on certain subject areas. Individual lessons are certainly the most customized form of teaching and can address key areas of weakness, but the student may miss out on the opportunity of learning from a peer's questions or mistakes.
At NTK, therefore, we also offer arranged private group lessons. Private group lessons are carefully matched lessons that have from two to six students per class. The lessons are created for students from the same school/syllabus and same grade/academic level. This will ensure the least amount of discrepancy between the students' objectives, and allow a constructive learning environment where all students have their key concerns addressed and at the same time learn from each other's study habits and mistakes.
School Selection
We offer comprehensive consultation regarding school selections for both overseas and local schools at secondary and tertiary levels includes a recommended range of schools for the student based upon the background information provided by the client. It may be necessary to undertake preliminary research before an appropriate selection of schools can be offered, or to carry out additional work after the initial enquiry. Any fees incurred in these cases will be calculated to reflect the time involved.
General Consulting
We offer guidance for general educational questions, education planning, and related enquiries but without the inclusion of lessons.

Applications and Registrations
We offer assistance with the completion of application forms, personal statement / college / boarding school essays and short answer questions, advising of deadlines and important dates, registration with programs and exams. Completion of applications and registrations will be contingent on client's completion of necessary personal information.
