| NTK Learning Center,
one of the leading educational providers in Southeast
Asia, was established in 1996 by Mr. Ng Teng Keat. NTK
specializes in academic programs for international school
and local school students, test preparation and post-secondary
education. |
 |
Since
its founding in 1996, NTK has grown continually both in
terms of school size and the number of staff and students.
It now has more than thirty full-time teachers in two
divisions: the English Division and the Mathematics &
Science Division. Its spacious school premises, which
opened in January 2001, and further expanded in Spring
2005, are equipped to meet the needs of our growing student
body. There is a newly expanded library with computer
facilities which students are encouraged to use freely.
NTK is a friendly community where courtesy, concern and
respect for others are fostered. |
 |
 |
 |
| NTK is a response to the increasingly
competitive academic world. We encourage in each student
a balanced and appreciative outlook on life and we believe
in providing our students with a challenging and stimulating
learning environment. A strong emphasis is placed on mastering
core subjects such as English, Mathematics and Science
in American and British systems. In addition to these
subjects, we introduce French, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin
and Cantonese to our students as we feel extra language
skills are essential in our multicultural society. |
 |
 |
|
We believe that
students work and learn best in very small groups.
It is our policy to maintain the teacher-student
ratio at 1:6. The school constantly reviews teaching
approaches to meet the specific needs of students.
With the help of parents, NTK hopes to find and
develop in every student his or her areas of expertise,
learning objectives and abiding interests. |
|
 |
| For may parents and students, the roads
that lead to the schools of their choice have never been
more challenging. Besides offering regular courses during
the school terms, NTK offers individual customized programs
to maximize academic success such as Common Entrance,
Interviewing Skills and College Essay Writing. |
